The Chinese Criminal Victimization Survey collected information regarding demographic, lifestyle, and neighborhood characteristics, and criminal victimization from respondents in six traditional districts located in the central urban area of Tianjin: Heping, Nankai, Hongxiao, Hexi, Hebei, and Hedong. The primary objective of the survey was to study the relationship between lifestyles, neighborhood characteristics, and personal safety among residents of Tianjin, so that improvements can be made in policy-making for public safety and the protection of residents.

This article is a primer on mortgage finance. It discusses the basics of the mortgage market and mortgage finance. In so doing, it provides useful information that can aid individuals in making better mortgage finance decisions. The discussion and the tools are presented within the context of mortgage finance, however, these same principles and tools can be applied to a wide range of financial decisions.

For the first major focus, cultural values, the survey asked respondents questions pertaining to the meaning and importance of culture, their interest and participation in cultural activities, and their national identity.

This data collection is comprised of data from the 2007 Annual Social and Economic Supplement (ASEC), and is a part of the Current Population Survey (CPS) Series. The Census Bureau conducts the ASEC (known as the Annual Demographic File prior to 2003) over a three-month period, in February, March, and April, with most of the data collected in the month of March.

The purpose of the study was to gather information pertinent to community, neighborhood, local government, and community-based activities in order to find ways to reduce poverty throughout the Northwestern states of Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Oregon, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Washington. The survey first asked the respondents to name their place of residence (in terms of state, county, and town), how long they had lived at their residence, and how much longer they planned to reside there.

The 2000 National Survey on Family and Economic Conditions (NSFEC) was collected by the Keio University Center of Excellence (COE) program. It is a national, two-stage stratified probability sample of Japanese men and women aged 20-49. The survey focused on aspects of early life course such as educational objectives and employment, as well as marriage, family life, child rearing, household management, and gender roles.

For the first topic, the European Union and its neighbors, respondents were asked to identify the number of current EU member countries and those countries that were to join the EU in the near future.
